The third weekend in August is always a special time in Port Dover. The Port Dover Summer Festival, or Art in the Park as it is commonly referred to, has been attracting thousands of visitors on this particular weekend for over 40 years. Many favourite craftspeople and artists of past years will be back as well as new faces this year with new craft skills to exhibit. Antique vendors will be returning to their usual location on Market Street along side the very popular book and magazine tables. There are wonderful eateries throughout the town – some near the park and others down by the harbour front and beach.
